My name is Christine I have decided to initiate this blog in hope to create an everlasting documentation of my family history, for both prior and future generations. The blog includes tabs which are located at the top of the blog page, that will allow users to easily access and navigate the site. The tabs are separated into the two sides of my family tree, Hallam and Gabor. This was done so information, photographs and movies that are dedicated to the different sides of the family can be easily found without hassle. In order to sustain this blog, family members and users must add posts, photographs and movies under the appropriate headings in order to add to the documentation of family history. Eventually there will be an abundance of information to intake, that viewers will gain an extensive amount of knowledge on the topic. All information found within the blog is factual and due to this, some information or photographs may be left out as it was not found or identified throughout the research process. This may also mean certain people have more information on them then other individuals.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Julia White, My father was Born Vilmos Gacs; later known as William or Bill. He too was a meat cutter. I would be his oldest daughter, just one of 8 Children he went on and had. He Married Lula Gacs of Arkansas shortly after coming to America. He left Hungary a freedom fighter, never to see his parents or siblings again. One brother did make it to Canada, married. But he and Dad never met up. All letters he had wrote home were sent back. I married James White, Had three sons. Isaiah, Andrew, and Eli. Andrew finished his degree in Hungary, married there and yesterday they gave birth to their son Marvin Vilmos White. We would love to speak to any one, and meet our family. This has been a long time coming.
ReplyDeleteHi Julia,
ReplyDeleteI have left a message with my father Les Gabor, to ask his mother Barbara Gabor (my gradmother) aka Barbara Gacs.
I dont know too much about my Grandmothers side of the family, only that she was one of 8 or ten children. I do know she no longer has contact with any of them, so if we were family she would be delighted to reconnect.
Thank you, my mom Lula, dads wife would love to talk also.
